Uplands Cottages occupies a secluded position in the Mendips Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by unspoilt countryside. A long, tree lined drive preserves a rare tranquillity in our thirty six acres of mature landscaped groundsand fields. Woodland forms the backdrop and shelters abundant wildlife.

Situated one mile from the delightful village of Winscombe, there is easy access to amenities such as a bakery, fish & chip shop, public house, post office, and more.

Each cottage has a private garden area, as well as access to our  landscaped grounds.

Each cottage has access to our Wifi. Credentials provided at check-in.

Pool

 

Our shared, outdoor, heated swimming pool is open from the beginning of May until September.

Towels

Towels and linen is provided in each property.

Tennis

​

On-site tennis court available to guests, with rackets and balls available on request.

Family Friendly

All of our cottages and facilities are family friendly.

Our four cottages are individually situated on our private estate, built of natural stone, and offer a peaceful and relaxing base for your holiday.

PITCHES

We offer a handful of electric-hookup pitches for caravans and camping, with shower facilities provided. Caravan Membership Number is required.

What can I say apart from perfect? Accommodation was warm, well equipped. For a summer break there is a wonderful swimming pool and games room. Will go back that's for certain.
